IE 9 — Another New Product Mistake

I hate to sound like a curmudgeon, but I’ve just been dissappointed by another new product. 

I upgraded over the weekend to Internet Explorer 9 and what a mistake!  IE 9 apparently doesn’t play well with my anti-virus software, Avast.  Avast is one of the most popular free anti-virus programs available.  I would have thought that Microsoft would have tested IE 9 with the major anti-virus programs.  But apparently not! 

Almost all of the sites I tried to go to were blocked for suspected Malware issues.  I finally had to restore my computer to an earlier time to get rid of IE 9.   I guess I should learn never to upgrade to new versions of software until it’s been out a while (at least 6 months) and I can read about the problems other people have had with it to make an educated decision.

Don’t let your new products disappoint your customers!  Has anyone else had these new product disappointments lately?  What new products have made you mad?
